**Subject: Omission of Amavo Communities from Osisioma Ngwa L.G.A. Zip Codes**
I am writing to bring to your attention a significant oversight regarding the postal codes assigned to Osisioma Ngwa Local Government Area (L.G.A.) in Abia State.
It has come to my attention that the town of Amavo, which comprises three autonomous communities, has been conspicuously omitted from the official list of Zip Codes for Osisioma Ngwa L.G.A., as published on October 2, 2017. This omission is of great concern to the residents of Amavo, as it has led to various challenges in receiving mail and essential services that rely on accurate postal codes.
The three autonomous communities within Amavo — Amavo Ancient Kingdom, Amavo Nkwogu and Etiti Amavo — are integral parts of Osisioma Ngwa L.G.A., and their exclusion from the postal code directory undermines their recognition and accessibility within the broader postal system.
I kindly request that the Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) review this matter and take the necessary steps to assign appropriate Zip Codes to Amavo and its autonomous communities. Ensuring that all areas within Osisioma L.G.A. are accurately represented in the postal code directory is crucial for efficient mail delivery and other related services.
I trust that this oversight will be corrected promptly to serve the needs of the residents of Amavo and to maintain the integrity of NIPOST’s services.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your positive response and a swift resolution.
